RAY DAHAL
Immigrated to the United States in 1999 with nothing but $1000 to his name, Mr. Ramesh "Ray" Dahal's perseverance and hard work in making OK Food Mart a great success cannot be underestimated.
Born in a small city in Southeastern Nepal, Mr. Dahal always had his sight set on business. After moving to the United States, he scouted for any opportunities that would come his way, working 18 hours each day and gaining valuable knowledge of the retail industry. With the accumulated knowledge and valuable skills, he opened the first branch of OK Food Mart. With sky-rocketing ambition and a taste of the real world, he was ready to expand his business empire. As he continued grinding and expanding OK Food Mart, many hurdles came his way but the amalgamation of Mr. Dahal's perseverance and resilience helped him overcome the obstructions and make OK Food Mart a great success. His success hasn't got to his head though, with Mr. Dahal actively participating in a myriad of philanthropic activities in and outside of North America.
Overall, he presents as a great example of someone who has truly lived The American Dream and has reaped its benefits to make himself and the people around him better.
